|
Perform business analysis and provide technical solutions for computer applications in industries such as Telecommunications |
|
Write programming language specific code to build software applications in the following areas: GUI(Graphical User Interface) components; Web Portals; Middleware components for implementing business logic; database interaction components; database programming |
|
Develop test strategy and detailed test plans for quality assurance. Perform Unit and System testing of software applications |
|
Develop technical documentation and interact with business users to gather technical requirements |
|
Provide maintenance support for software applications and enhancements and add-on functionality for software applications |
|
Research available commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) software products and recommend the most suited set for application requirements |
|
Install and configure software products and tune them for development |
|
Mentor other team members with unfamiliar technologies and business domains. Prepare technical presentations for showcasing the design and architecture of the software to other technical team members. Demonstrate software application developed |

Define configuration management process and install tools in place for source code management, product preparation, delivery and disaster recovery |

| B.S. degree in Computer Engineering, an Engineering discipline or a closely related field with 3 yrs of progressively responsible exp in the job offered or as a Programmer/Analyst or Software Engineer. Any suitable combination of this education and experience will be considered acceptable. Job sites principally in Virginia-DC area but travel on assignments to various unanticipated client sites within the U.S. may be required. |
